Westview Live presents …

“The musical pride of Scarborough.” – (Fenners, Sky Sports)
Absolute pleasure to welcome back North Yorkshire’s THE FEENS to Westview Live.

Featuring dual-lead vocalists Freddie Schmuck (guitar) and Adam Lodge (bass), along with Sam Dowling (lead guitar) and Ryan Woods (drums)
Following the release of their standout single ‘What Are You Dreaming?’, the quartet continue to gain champions and fans alike including notable support and plays from BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and Phil Taggart, as well as huge local support from BBC Radio York’s Jericho Keys.

“An armful of glorious, hook-laden indie anthems all wrapped up in 80s nostalgia” – Gigwise

Imagine wearing a scratchy hand knitted sweater and playing flat out rock n roll music in a stuffy, dilapidated English country cottage … well that’s what it’s like to be a Silver Line.
Since meeting Kindo (drums) and Joe Cartwright (bass), they have consistently sold out their hometown gigs, have had plays on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music, Radio X and have played festivals from England to America.
Fast forward to 2023 and repulsed by the notion of being just another ‘all white male indie’ that sings of teenage love or rants empty pseudo prophetic quotes, The Silver Lines set out to release new music that defies the genre and the peers within it. The product is a very self aware form of song writing that covers many taboo topics from toxic masculinity, learnt behaviours from past generations, and explores personal experiences that connect with the listener on a much deeper level. Their new single, Blow Dry, is out now.

Unleash your innermost Rock n’ Roll alongside your new favourite band.
Scunny’s own Kingsway join the line up.
