is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images. Zines are the product of either a single person or of a very small group
Scunthorpe’s zine fest is back again!
Zines are DIY publications with roots in creative and passionate movements which have consistently been spaces for people to express, explore and entertain through simple printed booklets.
WITH NUMEROUS ZINE CREATORS, ARTISTS, LAYABOUTS, HOODLUMS, WASTES OF SPACE, DROPOUTS, YOBS, UNPROFESSIONALS AND GENERAL OBSTACLES TO THE ELIMINATION OF CREATIVE EXPRESSION EXPECTED TO ATTEND, WE HOPE YOU’LL COME JOIN US IN MAKING THIS A SUCCESS AND INJECTING A TOUCH OF DIY ART INTO OUR TOWN.
